What I've worked out is that is doesn't mix wonderfully with table's and cells within tables. If you have new cell chars, as in the example that is html-quoted below they come out in the output. But if you have no cells it doesn't end the table - so in the one above I worked around it by putting a start-cell character in front of the randomarea tag. However, not sure its different to just the thing without the table as below.

The image it gets is cached (on the server) and will change when the cache is expired (that might be once per day, I'm not sure - but you can force it by putting ?action=purge after the URL)
