Nominate "cycle friendly" or "could try harder" stores by emailing us.

Nominations for cycle-friendly businesses 2008 are now open.

1st Nomination;

Tesco's garage, Abbeydale Rd. Staff make a point of telling cyclists they can bring their bikes inside the shop with them

The Crookes Practice (medical centre on School road) have a big vestibule at the entrance for push chairs, cycles prams etc.

Orchard Square There are some curious white balls next to the stands which restrict the space. It is very difficult to put 2 bikes on one stand without obstructing the bike on the next stand. Also, water collects on the underside of the steps above the stands. The drip lands exactly where your saddle is.
